Paula Landron is a wellness event producer, fitness instructor, and breathwork facilitator. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Miami. I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 10 years. My journey started with teaching Zumba, and over time, I developed my own method, The Deep Method, which combines HIIT and meditation. I’m originally from Puerto Rico and created the island’s first fitness festival, Bootylicious. I also launched my own fitness product, Deep Bands. Over the years, my career evolved from fitness instructor to wellness event producer. Through my company, Mindset Events, I focus on creating transformative wellness experiences for corporations and world-class instructors. What drew you to Pilates, and what makes it special for you? I discovered Pilates after experiencing severe burnout after getting poisoned with Ciguatera (a rare type of food poisoning caused by contaminated fish). For three months, I couldn’t move due to severe joint pain, let alone engage in high-intensity workouts. Pilates became my refuge during this time, and I fell in love with how it helped me reconnect with my body and regain balance. You often talk about Pilates and skincare on social media. How do you see the connection between the two? Pilates aligns the body—improving posture, increasing mobility, and making you feel amazing overall. Skincare does the same for me on a different level—it aligns and refreshes my mind and body, helping me feel ready to take on the day. Could you share your personal skincare routine with our readers?
