Grown in the fertile soil of Hokkaido, organic Kita no Hato is rich in antioxidants and nutrients. The skin-conditioning formulation hydrates, brightens, soothes, and promotes smoother, more supple-looking skin.

Star ingredient: Kita No Hato (北のはと) the vitality-rich grain

Job's tears are originally grown in temperate to tropical regions of Asia. In contrast, we use the Kita No Hato variety harvested in the harsh cold of Hokkaido and bred it to have more vitality. We use Kita No Hato grown organically at our contracted farm, which meets the organic JAS standard.

The bakusai (爆砕) method

This unique method is used to extract the most concentrated ingredients from Kita no Hato. The process involves blasting open the hard outer surface of the seeds and processing them into fine, thin plates that maximize their efficacy. We make sure to husk and polish the seeds right before the extraction process in order to produce the freshest, untainted oil every time.

Fruit or leaf extract of the horse chestnut. It is a horse chestnut native to the Balkans and is widely planted as a roadside tree. The plant contains saponins and flavonoid glycosides known for a variety of benefits.

DIPOTASSIUM GLYCRRHIZATE

Dipotassium glycyrrhizate (DPG) is a natural ingredient derived from licorice root. This potent ingredient is recognized for its ability to help even out skin tone and it has been shown to help preserve hyaluronic acid content in skin.
